Sport Vision Trainings at BTA

This week we have been collaborating with Giorgio Sola, a sport vision and mental trainer from Italy, who visited our academy with one of his players Giacomo.

Giorgio trained with Giacomo every single day for about 30 minutes before Giacomo's tennis programme at our academy. Apart from that, he ran a series of sport vision exercises with our player Aadi. Below you can check out our videos from their sessions, during which they worked on their focus, selective attention and timing. It was a great experience for all of us!

Sport vision training can be a great complement to regular fitness and mental programmes. Overall, it enhances the brain's ability to process visual data. Its benefits in tennis are numerous. It may improve ability to track the ball and quicker reaction to its direction, concentration, focusing flexibility and eye-hand coordination. In addition, it may lead to more controlled body movement and enhanced court awareness.

Many thanks to Giorgio Sola for his visit! Here's his website where you can find more information about his work -

Looking forward to seeing both Giorgio and Giacomo again at our academy!
