Morning exercises with rope resistance bands

During yesterday's fitness session, our players worked with rope resistance bands helping them build their explosive power and speed. In one of the exercises, which can be seen in the video, a series of 10-second jumps was followed by sprinting.

Resistance band training not only builds general strength and conditioning, but also adds dynamic power to the tennis game. It allows to mirror the tennis-specific movement patterns which players use on the court.

Our fitness coach Adria regularly incorporates it into our daily fitness practice. In the video Youssef, Aron, Mahin, Alina and Maria are working on their explosivity and dynamic sprinting start.
