This week we had the pleasure to train with a group of players from the Brookhaven Tennis Academy in Texas. Our group programmes consist of two sessions of drills in the morning focusing on movement and technique, one hour of fitness and two hours of match in the afternoon. Every training day finishes with a stretching session. In addition, our programme includes a group mental session.
For injured players we individualised our programme. We organised for them only part-time trainings, taking into account a type of injury and filled the rest of their day with gym recovery, stretching as well as one-on-one mental sessions focusing on goal-setting, various routines, imagery (with a focus on injury recovery) and Yoga breathing techniques.
We hope the whole group and their families enjoyed their stay at the academy! Looking forward to seeing them all again!
